Skelleftebuss AB is a well established bus company with old roots in the Skellefteå area. The company is a market leader in the northern country of Västerbotten, and is one of the largest bus companies in Sweden. The fleet of vehicles totals 126. In the year 2008 the company turn-over totalled 130 million Swedish kronor and employed a total of 200 people. Skelleftebuss is owned by Skellefteå Stadshus AB.

 

Skelleftebuss has a reputation as a versatile company meeting the transport needs of the entire community. The company has approximately 90 busses covering routes within the districts of Norrbotten and Västerbotten. Skelleftebuss provides the council with town traffic, school transports and buses for disabled. A special section is responsible for private hire and short break tours. Skelleftebuss also operates several bus terminals and handles parcel distribution within the country area.

 

Skelleftebuss carries out its own services and repairs by its own qualified mechanics in their garages in Skellefteå, Burträsk and Norsjö.
